I know the volcano in Iceland caused a lot of chaos for a lot of people, but at least it gave us some absolutely astounding images. The northern lights over the eruption is a pretty amazing sight to behold. The constrast between fiery orange and sublime green, shattering rock and ethereal cloud is nothing if not otherworldly. 2nd and last picture are my favorites, looks like the an aurora light show in the sky with the way the light and ash give everything a strange green hue
ReplyDeleteThe first one is my favourite- I think because of the movement in the smoke. The green colouring is amazing! I would have thought a volcanic eruption would interfere with the weather conditions that cause the northern lights but apparently not.
ReplyDeleteFirst and second for me. They're beautiful.
